News. Red Nose Day 2009.
As well as donating money to Camkids last year, we also decided to put our time, energy and money towards ‘Red Nose Day’. We set ourselves a target of £500 and beat it handsomely thanks to a terrific team effort from everyone. We raised £685. Here’s how we did it …
- We paid £2 each to dress in casual clothes for the day
- We sponsored Pete Fowke and Janet Priestnall to dye their hair after reaching £200
- We prepared a buffet lunch and charged ourselves £5 per head
- We held a raffle
- Staff baked cakes and sold them to nearby offices
- We installed a swear box !!
